PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Planning advised that Silos Phase 2 is waiting for Parks’ approval. Public Works will follow up on the Meadow’s Edge roundabout.
OLD BUSINESS: Greater Valley Health Center – 1933 3rd Ave E – bldg. & site remodel – This was conditionally passed through site review pending waiver of SID that may have been submitted to Planning on 9/4 in an annexation application. Planning will check application packet. Planning and Public Works discussed the water hookup to the Carver Building.
MSU College of Nursing – 331 Heritage Way – Public Works has a resubmittal in their queue. Planning is waiting on the parking agreement. This will be on the agenda next week.
Peak Fitness – 637 E Idaho St – fitness center – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
Mountain West – 168 Timberwolf Pkwy – plastic surgery/med spa – Public Works is working on latecomers fees. This was conditionally passed through site review pending latercomers fees completion.
Flathead Co. Courthouse – 800 S Main – parking lot – Public Works is still waiting for comments back from them. This will be on the agenda next week.
Costco – Jefferson Blvd – store/fuel station – Public Works is waiting on still a resubmittal from them. Planning and
Public Works discussed site bonding and MDT approval of a traffic light. Planning advised that final plat is not complete. This will be on the agenda next week.
Dog Club Paving – 111 W Idaho St – new parking lot – Public Works still has comments out. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Kynzie Lane Townhomes – 1715 5th Ave E – new townhomes – This is in Public Works’ queue. Planning and Public Works discussed sidewalks and turnaround. This will be on the agenda next week.
Stillwater Crossing Apartments – 430 Stillwater – Bldgs H,J,K,L & M – Public Works is waiting on the reimbursable deposit and construction drawings. Engineering and Landscaping reviews are complete. Planning advised that there is no final plat and PUD amendment. They will remind the applicant of the PUD amendment status. Public Works has not
approved the subdivision. Building to verify addressing. This will be on the agenda next week.
New Business:
Bloomstone Apartments/Clubhouse – 1070 Treeline – Bldg A/Clubhouse – Public Works has comments out. Building advised that the Geotech reports should be coming in soon. Planning advised that the Final Plat should be completed soon. Planning and Public Works discussed parking and the landscape buffer. This will be on the agenda next week.
MT Imaging Center – 3201 US Hwy 93 N – Remodel/Change of Use – Rory Young from Jackola sent a project summary email yesterday. Planning advised that this is a building remodel only and that they will be staying on septic and well. Planning also advised that when the subdivision comes in, bonding for parking would be required and timing for that
would need to be coordinated with MDT and Parks. Also, the change of use will trigger police and fire impact fees. Building advised that a temporary certificate of occupation can also be issued if necessary. This conditionally passed
through site review.
Project Wolfpack – United Dr – warehouse/distribution – Public Works advised that civils were received this week and
are in their queue. Planning advised that the annexation is up for City Council approval on 9/16/24. This will be on the agenda next week.
Birds Nest – 120 Financial Drive – new daycare building – Building advised that they are working with the City Attorney on how to proceed with their permit and that a letter or email from the owner and Roger Porch will be needed. Planning advised that the floodplain portion of the permit is complete pending permit status. Hayden Tanner from KLJ Engineering advised that the combining of lots is being worked on. Public Works needs a full set of civils and advised that the roundabout seems to be going in the wrong direction. This will be on the agenda next week.
