SUBJECT: Bid Award for (2) 2025 Chevrolet 1500 Model CK10743 4wd Crew Cab Pickups
MEETING DATE: September 3, 2024
BACKGROUND: The city advertised for bids for (2) Chevrolet 1500 4x4 Crew Cab, model
CK10743 pickups. This was advertised on July 7, 2024, and August 11, 2024. One bid was
received, and the opening of such bid was performed at 2:30 pm on August 20, 2024.
One bid was received from Corwin Chevrolet for $45,112.00 per vehicle for a total amount of
$90,224 for 2 pickups.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Award the bid for (2) New 2025 Chevrolet 1500 4x4 Crew Cab, model
CK10743 pickups to Corwin Motors of Kalispell.
FISCAL EFFECTS: $130,000 was budgeted for these pickups, to include the purchasing of Code
3 equipment, canopies, bed storage systems, etc. and budget was authorized August 19, 2024.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested and approved by City Council.
