SUBJECT: Bid Award for 2026/2027 Fire Engine/Pumper
MEETING DATE: September 3, 2024
BACKGROUND: The city advertised for bids for a Fire Engine/Pumper. This was advertised on
July 7, 2024, and August 11, 2024. One bid was received, and the opening of such bid was
performed at 2:30 pm on August 20, 2024.
A single bid from E-One Fire Apparatus with options as specified was $1,121,380.00. Anticipated
delivery for this apparatus is 3-plus years.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Award the bid for (1) New Fire Engine/Pumper to E-One Fire Apparatus
in the amount of $1,121,380.00.
FISCAL EFFECTS: This apparatus will be paid for from the Emergency Responder Levy funds.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested and approved by City Council.
