Subject: EXTERNAL Salvation Army Community Meeting
Good afternoon,
My name is Lt. Sean Pease. I'm the new Corps Officer at The Salvation Army here in Kalispell, and I'm emailing
to see if it's possible to have schedule a meeting between Mayor Johnson, myself, my Divisional Commander
(Lt. Colonel Cindy Foley), and my advisory board chair (Sean Sullivan) between September 16-19 or 23-25.
The Salvation Army has been a part of this community for nearly 130 years with the goal of bettering the
community and its people in the name of Jesus Christ, and that goal and mission have never changed. We
realize that our role in the community has diminished since the COVID-19 pandemic, and we would like to
rectify that. However, we don't want to do so without hearing from the community and its leaders. The
purpose of this meeting is to introduce myself to Mayor Johnson, get his input as to what needs in the
community aren't being met, and work together to see what direction The Salvation Army in Kalispell should
be moving to be most effective in our city.
I look forward to hearing back from you and working with you in the years to come.
Blessings,
Sean Pease, Lieutenant
The Salvation Army
