The regular meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board
was held Tuesday, December 13., 1977 at 7:30 P.M. in the Flathead
County Courthouse East, 723 5th. Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana
Conference Room.

The meeting was called to order at 9:06 p.m. by Chairman Jim
Thompson.
Jim Thompson asked if there were any additions or corrections to
the minutes of 11-8-77 meeting. There being none, he stated the
minutes would stand approved as mailed.
Jim Thompson then asked Steve Petrini to read the communication
from the Flathead County Park Board. Steve Petrini read the
communication from Vern Mauritsen, Director of the Flathead County
Park Board. The communication asked for the Kalispell City -County
Planning Board's cooperation in their review of development
proposals until the County Park has completed their Master Plan
for the Ashley Creek Greenbelt Park System. Jim Thompson then
explained the Ashley Creek Greenbelt Park Project.
Steve Petrini then passed out to the members of the Board an
information brief on Hidden Meadows Mobile Home Park and Twin Acres
Mobile Home Park Expansion. He explained that both of these mobile
home park proposals will be heard at a public hearing before the
Kalispell City -County Planning Board on December 27, 1977, and
that the information supplied in the briefs was for the Board's
prior information.
Steve Petrini then passed out the revised Checklist which is to
be used by Planning Board Members during public hearings on
proposed developments. Board Members stated that they should be
used at the upcoming Dec. 27th. public hearings on a trial basis
and that if corrections need to be made they can be suggested
thereafter.
Jim Thompson brought up the matter of reimbursing the APO Budget
for expenses incurred on printing 25 copies of the Kalispell
Zoning Regulations (Proposed), and on paper and supplies to
print the Final 100 copies of the Kalispell Zoning Regulations.
Jim stated that he felt this was a specific project for the
'Kalispell Planning Board and the cost should be borne by the
Board rather than the APO. B. J. Lupton moved that the
Kalispell City -County Planning Board issue a warrant in the
amount, payable to the Flathead County Areawide Planning Org.
The motion was seconded by Fran 011endike and carried.

The regular meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning
Board, was held Tuesday, December 27, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. in the
Flathead County Courthouse East, 723 5th. Avenue East, Kalispell,
Montana, Community Room.

Acting Chairman, Dale Haarr, opened the meeting at 8:05 p.m.
Due to the lack of a quorum, the meeting was dismissed and
rescheduled for the January 10, 1978 meeting.
Garmen Meadows requested copies of the new Kalispell Zoning
Regulations for the Board Members and requested a copy of the
Flathead County Regulations for himself.
There was a minor discussion on spot zoning and zoning in
general.
Also noted was the fact that 14 people present were there to
oppose the Hidden Meadow Mobile Home Park which was on the
agenda.
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
