PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Planning advised that Tap & Games was advised of the requirements needed prior to releasing their bond. Planning and Public Works discussed cleaning up older bonds. OLD BUSINESS: Casa Mexico – 1600 US Hwy 93 S – TI expansion/parking lot –Parking Lot landscaping plans are in Parks’ queue. Public Works stated that the waiver of SID needs to be recorded. This will be on the agenda next week. Samaritan House – 1110 2nd St W – new apartment and community building –Public Works is still waiting for confirmation of their mailroom approval from the Post Office. This will be on the agenda next week. Village Loop Mixed Use – 63 Village Loop – new mixed use bldg. – Public Works advised that a Stormwater Maintenance Permit is the last requirement. This will be on the agenda next week. Beehive Homes PH 3 – 242 Stillwater Rd – new building – The committee advised Josh Burleigh that Parks still needs to approve the landscaping plans prior to issuing a permit or accepting payment for impact fees. This will be on the agenda next week. Greater Valley Health Center – 1933 3rd Ave E – bldg. & site remodel –Public Works has civil comments out. Building review is complete. This will be on the agenda next week. MSU College of Nursing – 331 Heritage Way – Planning advised that a new site plan is in process and that a parking easement will be required. This will be on the agenda next week. Peak Fitness – 637 E Idaho St – fitness center – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week. Red Eagle Hangar – Ryan Lane – city airport – Building advised that they are working with the applicant on their plans. This will be on the agenda next week. Mountain West – 168 Timberwolf Pkwy – plastic surgery/med spa – In all departments’ queues. This will be on the agenda next week. CAP – 1820 US Hwy 93 S – offices/change of use – Planning will be setting up a meeting with the applicant to address 18th Street improvements. This will be on the agenda next week. NEW BUSINESS: KNTC Common Area – 1413 Pondera St – pump house – Building requested a site plan from Jackola. This will be on the agenda next week. Office Building – 150 1st Ave WN – change of use/occupancy – Public Works and Building had no issues with the change of use. Affinity at Kalispell PUD Amendment – Timberwolf Pkwy – Inland Group advised the committee of the change in PUD which involves different ownership of half of the site and building a senior apartment with indoor amenities. Planning and Public Works will require simultaneous frontage improvements. The committee discussed phasing construction, fire suppression, and the building permit process. The committee agreed that this is a Minor PUD Amendment. PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: None. OTHER ITEMS: None.
