Thank you for reading my email
To those voting on potentially closing the center,
Here are my thoughts
Closing the Warming Center will increase the rate of homelessness in our community.Without a safe
place to go, more people will be left on the streets, especially during the winter. This affects not only
those individuals but also the overall community of Kalispell.
The Warming Center is essential for helping people meet their basic needs. It provides a safe space for
rest, healing, and regaining strength—things many of us take for granted. By supporting people in this
way, the center helps them maintain their dignity and feel valued.
When people in our community are supported and given the chance to rebuild their lives after a
disastrous event, it benefits everyone. The Warming Center fosters hope and possibility, helping
individuals reconnect with themselves and their dreams. This sense of dignity and support helps our
entire community.
Please vote to keep the Warming Center open.
Thankyou,
Kell
