The meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board was
called -to order by President Fran Le'ininger at'8:10 p.m.
Dale Haarr moved that,the-Minutes of.the June 22, 1976 meeting
be approved as mailed; seconded by Garmen Meadows: motion
carried.
A letter dated June 30, 1976 from Mayor Norma Happ to
G. R. D. Enterprises; concerning Slama Addition No. 19.was
.read, (copy attached)
A preliminary approval statement dated July'9,.1976 from
the County Commissioners on the Greenacres West Subdivision
was read. (copy attached).,
Following a discussion by the Board, it was recommended that
the Staff be directed to -request clarification concerning
Item 3, as to what the Covenants mentioned consisted of.
The Staff presented a summary of the Gilman.Add. #67 and
preliminary recommendations., Following a lengthy discussion -
by the. Board, Jim Thompson moved that the Glman.Addition #67
be rejected at this time,.as it was not in keeping-.
with the Comprehensive Plan for the area in,view of,the
density and surrounding area. Dale Haar seconded the
motion: Motion carried.
Following a summary of.the proposed 1 lot annexation of the
Hendrickson Add. #70, and preliminary recommendations by the
Staff, Jim,Thompson moved that the Hendrickson Add. #70 be
approved as No. l Residence District; seconded by Dale Haarr:
Motion carried.
The Staff informed the Board that their request.for a
Soils Map of the Kalispell Jurisdictional Area to be
prepared by the Soil, Conservation District, had been
completed several years ago'by the A.P:O. Staff and the
material is on file. at the A.P.O. Office. The only work
remaining is some updating to conform to the current
jurisdictional boundaries.
�. Kal ispel l 'City- The Staff presented the Proposed Budget of $2,.1IQ.,. Cas,, 'PerCounty Planning years previous); and noted that this. Budget would not require
Board Budget, any'mill levy because it is a carryover of last year's funds.
Dorothy Garvin moved to approve the budget as submitted;
Seconded by Harvey Kneb.el: Motion carried.

moved to table action unti:l,the Board's next.regular
meeting, to allow- further time to.consider the proposal.
It was also suggested that the Staff draft a Zoning Regulation
which would allow mobil homea,on individual lots,.
This was to be done wTth the intention of, proposing this
regulation to the City prior to their consideration of
adoption of the County Zoning Regulat%ons.
The Board was.adv1sed by.the-AoP.O. Staff that all future
meetings would be held at the Health Service Center
Meeting Room. o
Being no further business, the meeting, adjourned at 10•30
P.M.
