The meet i ng of .the, Ka l ispel l City -County- Pl ann i;ng Board was
called to -order by President Fran Leininger at 8:05 pom,
A motion by Dorothy Garvin ; seconded by Maurice Eddie approved
the minutes of March 9, 1976, as mailed. Motion carried.
Steve Petrini reported to the Board that at its next regular
meeting to be held April 27, 1976, five subdivisions would be on
the agenda for public hearings.
Garmen Meadows requested that the Staff'Report,on subdivisions
be marled to the planning board members prior -to the date of the
public hearing so that the board members -would have time to review
the report pr%or to the public hearing. He further suggested that
tf the subdivision -proposed had already an approved master plan
.that the conditions for approval of the master plan be so spelled
out'and stipulated in the Staff Report, The members present
concurred with Garmen Meadows request and instructed the A;P;O,
Staff to include the information when appropriate and mail the
Staff Report out prior to the public hearings.
Dach.e Williams reported on the. following:.
1. Buffalo Hill Townhouses. Annexation to the City of Kalispell
is complete and the Board of Adjustment on Monday,
April 12, 1976, granted the necessary, variances to allow the
development to take place.
2. That the City Council appeared to .be leaning toward park
dedication rather than cash in lieu of park Nand dedication
for annexations to the City of .,Kalispell.
3. That the A:PeO; Staff had been given C.D,A. Grant Forms to
complete. The forms would enable the City of'Kalispell
to apply for subsidized housing funds.
The County Commissioners had referred to the planning board
the Zoning request for the Springdale Addition, First
Addition to Springdale and Adjacent Property to'the South
for the Boards review an.d recommendation. Steve Petrini
reviewed for the Board the request by property owners and
the boundaries of the district proposed. After much
discussion, Dale Williams moved that the matter be tabled
until the next meeting, or the first meeting in May.
Seconded by William Lupton. Motion carried.
