Public Hearing.
A meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board was held
on Tuesday, March 9, 1976, at 8 p,m. in the:P.:P. &:L. Service
Center.
Members present:

The meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board was
called to order by President Fran Leininger,at 8:20 p;m.
Lois Randall moved that the minutes of February 24, 1976 meeting
be approved as mailed; seconded by Dale W. Haar: motion carried.
A letter from the Evergreen School'Board, reiterating their
opposition to more mobile home parks in Evergreen, was read.
A letter from Vern Mauritsen was read, stating that the Park
Board voted to recommend to the Kalispell City -County Planning
Board that park area be dedicated for Hillcrest Estates Unit
No. 4.
A public hearing was conducted for Hillcrest Estates Unit
No. 4. A copy of the staff report was distributed and
Jim Mohn reported on the status of the subdivision. After
discussion of staff recommendations, Garmen Meadows moved
that the Kalispell City -County Planning Board recommend
preliminary approval with the following conditions consistent
with the county commissioners conditional approval of
Units 2 & 3.
1. That the water and sewer systems be approved by the
State Department of Health and Environmental Sanitation
and the County Sanitarian, and
2. the park.area as designated be taken rather than cash,
3. and no further subdivision of lots be approved,
4. and the 'Flathead County Commissioners would like very
much to take note that this land is 1 through 4 class
farmland, and it is regrettable that this type of land
be used for this purpose, and
5. homes should be set back a minimum of 25 feet from the
streets and side streets, and no hedges on corner lots
over 3 feet in height.
