The meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board
was called to order by President Fran Leininger at 8:00pm.
Minutes of the January 13, 1976, as well as the
December 23, 1975 Minutes, as mailed, were approved
by Dale Williams; seconded by Lois Randall:
motion carried.
There was much discussion by the Planning Board
following the presentation of the Staff Report on
the Public Hearing on the Buffalo Hill Townhouses.
Following added information by the Developer,
B. T. Grattan, the following motion was.made by
James J. Thompson: That the board recommend to the
Council that Plat of Buffalo .Hill Townhouses be given
preliminary approval subject to the conditions
presented in the Staff Report. Motion was seconded
by Dale Williams and amended to read as follows:
1. All water and sewer systems be approved by,the
State Department of Health and Kalispell
Director of Public Works, and that all relocation
costs for utilities be the responsibility of.the
developer.
2. That the City of,Kalispell Board of Adjustment
and City Council grant a Variance from the city
codes with respect to minimum lot size and
side yard requirements of'the No. 1 Residence
District and, ,;.
3. that cash be accepted in lieu of the park
dedication requirement.
This was seconded'by.James J,. Thompson.

Hollo Addition
Approved referral to
the City.
Preliminary
Comprehensive Plan
(Clarification of
Agricultural Classification)
The Board reviewed the proposed Hollo Addition,
a one'lot annexation inthe Sunset Addition,
and Dale'Haarr moved that the Staff refer the request
to the City:with,an affirmative recommendation.
Seconded by Lois'Randall: Motion carried.
Discussion was held concerning the Board making a
.recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners
on the County Comprehensive Plan.' After several
points were discussed, Garmen Meadows moved that a letter
be sent requesting clarification of the agricultural
and timber classifications contained in the plan.
Seconded by James J. Thompson: Motion carried.
Dale Williams moved that the Chairman of the
Planning Board be authorized to send a letter to the
Kalispell City Council, requesting a joint meeting
of'the entire council, at their convenience, and the
Planning Board to discuss the Comprehensive Plan
and the Comprehensive Zoning Regulations, which
have been adopted for the Kalispell jurisdictional
area, outside the city limits. Seconded by Garmen
Meadows: Motion carried.
It was moved to adjourn at 10:10 p.m.
