The regular.meeting of the Kalispell City -County Planning Board
met Tuesday, May 27, 1975, in the P P & L•Service Center.
Members present:

The meeting was called to order by President Hammer at 8:07 p.-m.
A motion by Keith Allred, Seconded by James Thompson, approved
the minutes of May 13, 1975, as mailed.
A public hearing was held on the preliminary plat of Meadowland
Unit No. 2. Copies of the staff report were distributed and
Jim Mohn reported on the status of said subdivision. After
general public comments were received and discussion by members
of the Board, James Thompson moved that the Kalispell City -County
Planning Board recommend to the Board of County Commissioners of
Flathead County that the preliminary plat of Meadowland Unit 2
be given preliminary approval subject to the following conditions:
1. That the development tie to city water and sewer, if
either or both are found to be adequate to serve, such
to be determined by the city engineer, and that the
developer install systems within the development to
tie into the city system, in conformance with
Sections 6.5 and 6.6 of the Subdivision Regulations.
2. That water system include hydrants for fire protection.
3. That the proposed subdivision be annexed to the city,
the streets be brought to city standards and the
restrictive covenants be changed to allow only single
family homes.
4. That all water and sewerage systems be approved by the
State Department of Health and Environmental Sciences
and County Sanitarian.
Seconded by Lois Randall. 5 yes - 1 no (Harvey Knebel).
Motion carried.
Mr. Petrini reminded Board members of the public hearing to be
held May 28 .on Zoning Regulations for the county portion of the
Kalispell Jurisdictional Area. President Hammer asked members
to please attend.
