A communication received from Mrs. Robert B. Johnson regarding public comment on the proposed urban highway project on Meridian Road was read. The communication was placed on file for future reference. Steve Petrini reported on the status of Country Village Phase I. Mr. Petrini reported that after submitting th.e Board's recommendation on Country Village Phase I to the Board of County Commissioners that Duane Bitney, developer, and Jim Keikhley, Division Engineer for the Montana Highway Department, came to the office and discussed a'change in plans for the proposed secondary project on West Reserve Drive. As a result of that meeting, I, as Planning Director, submitted to the Board of County Commissioners revision in the Board's conditional approval statement No. 5. The change submitted reads as follows: "That the 23' setback from existing right of way along West Reserve Drive be identified and reserved for future right of way expansion and that the north 10' of lot 7 be designated as an access control strip with control placed with the county." The reason for the change in statement No. 5 is that the Highway Department now proposes to buy all of the necessary right of way on the south side of Reserve Drive rather than in equal increments of both sides of .West Reserve Drive. The members of the Board present concurred in the revision to statement No. 5 as reported. Mr. Hammer and Mr. Petrini reported to the Board on the matter of interim zoning as instituted by the Board of County Commissioners on May 2, 1975, and Mr. Petrini also reported that the Board of County Commissioners had scheduled a public hearing on the Zoning Regulations for the Kalispell jurisdictional area on May 28, 7:30 in the Eagles Hall. Mr. Hash moved that the Kalispell City - County Planning Board recommend to the Kalispell City Council and Board of County Commissioners of Flathead County that they adopt , 1 the Zoning Regulations as amended. `Seconded by Harvey Knebel f ' and carried. 4 aye, 2 abstained.
