KALISPELL CITY -COUNTY PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
June 10, 1980

Minutes Amended Minutes of the May 13th meeting were amended to state
Dorothy Garvin was present. May 27th minutes were
approved as read.
Meeting was called to order in the Kalispell City Hall
at 7:30 P.M.
Public Hearing, A Public hearing was held on the Monk Annexation
Monk Annexation request. Mohn presented the three-part plan and
request concerning eight acres near the City Airport
which included: 1. Annexation to the City. 2. Zon-
ing.of B-3 of the Kalispell City Codes (presently
zoned Industrial.) 3. Air Park division of total
12-acre site to 18 commercial lots and 18 aircraft
tie-down.sites. Land is bordered by the Airport and
vacant lots. Requests are compatible with surrounding
land uses.. ATS recommended approval of all three re-
quests upon the following conditions: 1. All water
and sewer extensions be approved by the Health Depart-
ment, and 2. All other improvements be installed as
directed by the.City of Kalispell.
Robert Monk stated all engineering had been done re-
garding water and sewer installation. There was no
________ public comment.
Request Approved Heller moved the annexation request be approved. Second
Garvin. Unanimous. Garvin moved the B-3.zoning be
approved. Second Corbitt. Unanimous. Garvin moved
the subdivision be approved. Second Heller. Unanimous.
Smith briefly explained the history of previous City
Council and Planning Board actions concerning the
u Meridian Addition which led to the present request to
find alternative zoning. Meridian Zoning will be
discussed by the City -County Zoning Commission.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 as there was no further
business.
