A RESOLUTION OF INTENT CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE
PROPOSED TOURISM BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ("TBID") FY 2024-2025
BUDGET AND WORK PLAN, INCLUDING A BED TAX ASSESSMENT INCREASE, AS
RECOMMENDED BY ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
WHEREAS, on May 20, 2024, the TBID presented to the city council an FY24 work plan and
budget, including a request to increase the bed tax assessment from $2.00 per night
per to $4.00 per night per room; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7-12-1132, et seq., MCA, the public shall be notified of the
intent to hold a public hearing in order to hear from the public regarding the
proposed TBID budget and work plan including the proposed bed tax assessment
increase.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. On the 17th day of June, 2024, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 201 1st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana, the city
council of the City of Kalispell shall hold a Public Hearing regarding the
proposed TBID FY 2024-2025 budget and work plan, including the bed tax
assessment increase.
SECTION 2. That notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published pursuant to
Section 7-1-4127, MCA.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 3RD DAY OF JUNE, 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on the 17th day of June, 2024 at 7:00 P.M., in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, 201 1 st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana, the City Council of the City
