I am a Flathead Valley Native. Born in 1964. I was lucky enough to buy a home 11 years ago. This would not be possible now.
I have 4 adult children, all born in Kalispell Montana.
Two of my adult children have families and are housing insecure due to the housing shortage. This includes the high cost of renting.
I understand that this is a complicated issue.
I am in support of the annexation and zoning change request for the Tronsdad Meadows/ Whitetail Crossing neighborhood.
Please pass these updates to increase attainable housing and the opportunity for home ownership among middle income families in the
Flathead Valley.
