1.01 Section 00 11 13 – Advertisement for Bids, under General Notice, replace the third paragraph with the following: “Bids for the construction of the Project will be received via QuestCDN until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, April 25, 2024. At that time all Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall First Floor Conference Room, 201 1St Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana. “ 1.02 Section 00 11 13 – Advertisement for Bids, under Additional Bid Information, replace the third
paragraph with the following: “All bids must expressly covenant that if the bidder is awarded the contract, the bidder shall within thirty (30) calendar days of the acceptance of said bid by the City Council, enter into a contract and give good and sufficient bond to secure the performance of the terms and conditions of the contract. In the event the successful bidder does not enter into a formal contract within thirty (30) calendar

material, and services to remove, repair, and rehabilitate the interior concrete surfaces of the Fermenter up to 2 inches in depth. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of deteriorated concrete and interior coatings; repair of concrete surfaces, not including crack repair; and preparation
of all interior surfaces per specifications.
103b Interior Concrete Removal, Repair, & Rehabilitation greater than 2 inches in depth This unit price item includes all labor, equipment, material, and services to remove, repair, and rehabilitate the interior concrete surfaces of the Fermenter greater than 2 inches in depth. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of deteriorated concrete and interior coatings; repair of
concrete surfaces, not including crack repair; and preparation of all interior surfaces per specifications.

to the exterior of the Fermenter per drawings and specifications, including but not limited to removal and replacement of exterior Fermenter components
necessary for coatings application.

108 Fermenter Interior Bracing Allowance This lump sum item includes all labor, equipment, material, and services to install bracing in the Fermenter. This work item will be authorized by the
Owner. The dollar amount set forth in the contract is an estimated amount only, which may be adjusted up or down by the Owner in accordance with the needs
of the project. A written description is to be submitted prior to the work being performed. The submittal must include a complete and detailed cost
breakdown for materials, labor, equipment, and services required for this work item.
109 Incidental Fermenter Rehabilitation Work This lump sum item includes all labor, equipment, material, and services to complete the fermenter
rehabilitation per drawings and specifications; including but not limited to crane rental, process and mechanical system improvements, metal component
surface preparation and coatings application, wetwell surface preparation and coatings application, and all other rehabilitation work
methods and appurtenances per drawings and specifications.
110 Contingency Allowance This lump sum item will be authorized on an as needed basis by the Owner. The dollar amount set
forth in the contract is an estimated amount only, which may be adjusted up or down by the Owner in accordance with the needs of the project. It is not a
guaranteed amount to be paid to the Contractor and/or Bidder. A written description and price describing the Contractor’s proposed procedure for each item identified is to be submitted prior to the work being performed. The submittal must include a complete cost breakdown for the work activity
requested or directed by the Owner/Engineer. See Specification Section 01 21 00 for additional information.
