a) Jarod Nygren and/or Katharine King — 3rd and Main Development update.
b) Continue discussion on increasing parking ticket fine amounts. A motion was made
and passed unanimously at the November 4, 2021, meeting to increase regular parking
fine amounts from $10 to $15, and safety violations from $10 to $25.
c) Continue discussion on lot striping and maintenance for spring 2024.
d) Continue discussion on possible options for the Eagles Lot, when ticket machine is
no longer operable.
8. New Business
a) Captain Sutton would like to explore options for updating parking tickets and making
payment more convenient.
b) Discuss increasing the current $35 boot fee.
c) Discuss increasing parking permit fee amounts and standardizing the amount for all
10 permitted lots. There has not been an increase in parking permit amounts since
June 15, 2014.
d) Discuss converting the Skyline Lot back to paid permit parking. It was not being
utilized as a permitted lot and has been open to the public since October of 2011.

The mission of the City of Kalispell Parking is to effectively manage the parking inventory in order to adequately
meet the needs of downtown's customers,employees, visitors,and residents.
