Dear City Council Public Comment from Brenda RoskosCity Council Members,
It is with grave concern that I submit to you the following articles.
The articles contained within this email are composed of 1st hand interviews with the homeless and assaults made on citizens by the homeless, crime, littering, an overdose of fentanyl
and fentanyl usage within the FWC, and more. There are articles of crimes committed by the homeless population on the East side of Kalispell as well as many Warming Center inhabitants
who gravitate to that side of town during the daytime (often to hang out in the library etc.)
There is also a report that shares the lack of financial accountability by the Flathead Warming Center.
I have personal and extensive experience having dealt with the homeless as I assisted A Ray of Hope for 8 years. I also housed, fed, and cared for homeless sick women and children for
many years in my own home, and have dealt for years with several extended family members steeped in heavy drug addiction and guided them through the process of sobriety until they were
clean.
Therefore I am respectfully submitting to you for your perusal and study multiple articles and am asking that you pull the Conditional Use Permit concerning, the Flathead Warming Center
due to a lack of accountability, danger, harm, and more.
Mark my words if this atrocious activity continues it will just be a matter of time before we will find a child raped and killed or a nearby coffee shop worker. I have 7 children and
13 grandchildren and have lived in this county for most of 50 years and I refuse to stand idly by and witness this wicked behavior.

My name is Cat and I am the owner of "Tester will not be re-elected." I am reaching out for comment on the X platform post, published in regards to your support and involvement in helping
Venezuelan illegal, Afghan illegals, and ukrainian illegals into the flathead valley via Valley Neighbors. There is a comment on their Facebook page that refers to thanking the city
counsel, after a kalispell event, for the counsel's support of this non-profit organization. As you know this organization has been helping resettle illegals for over 2 yrs.
in response to your statement above, I believe the Valley Neighbors were thanking us for being able to give public comment at our Council Meeting on the 6th of May (this past Monday).
There was no need to thank us though, as everyone has the right and opportunity to give public comment at all of our Council Meetings.
Did you know these illegals were not ptlroperly vetted to arrive into the flathead valley? I did not know and was not informed about any arrival in the Flathead Valley.
Did you ever speak forward or make a public comment in regards to the strained resources in the valley? Our rapid growth in the city has been a challenge, especially around housing units
available, but I think you may be referring to the County Sherrif's department - That would be a question for the Flathead County Commissioners.
Was kalispell properly told that there is a reason why their resources were being strained? Again, not sure what resources you are talking about, Kalispell is not currently under a resource
strain as we just passed an Emergency Responder Levy that will expand our Police Fire and Ambulance service starting in July. Again, I think you are responding to the comments made
by the County Sherriff. As I understand they are constantly strained by the growth in the valley and being underfunded by the County Commissioners, but you would have to ask the County
for those details.
When we're you notified that a non-profit of this nature was harboring illegals? I was not informed of this, I did hear of the controversy on Monday night when Valley Neighbors and their
supporters showed up to the City Council meeting to give public comment, but I do not have any information on anyone's immigration status.
Who did you notify in regards to this knowledge? I had no knowledge so did not inform anyone.
Have you donated campaign or personal funds or any monetary benefits to this non-profit organization? No
