Tronstad development from Mary OlsenI am against the proposed development at tronstad rd. I have lived in areas where similar developments were done. Besides.changing the beautiful open landscape, it overloads the infrastructure.
Supposedly it generates new taxes, but it never seems to be enough to widen roads for increased traffic, ongoing street repair, or needed schools. What will happen to local schools
with that much increased housing. Capital funds for school improvements or new schools along with necessary services and supplies will eventually cause current homeowners to pay more
taxes.
Landowner gets rich, developers and builders get rich and current homeowners are left picking up ongoing expenses. With the increase in property costs, current homeowners are already
getting hit with increased taxes. I've seen elderly, especially those on fixed income unable to maintain taxes on their homes.
Don't let that happen here.
