There was zero representation for the registered voters that lives outside the city limits and owns property within the taxable area. MCA 07-14-110 (2) the owner of taxable property
located in the area that is or may be subject to a tax under this chapter.
The election Office should be held accountable to all the unnamed property owners who did not get to exercise their right to vote. It is their responsibility to know the laws before
they put an election up to be voted on.

I am Tena Bowen a registered voter. I live in the Smith Valley district and own land inside the city limits. When I went to the election office on 3/12/2024 to get a ballot I was told
I could not vote. They sent me to city hall where I was informed the same thing I could not vote, plus the fact my taxes would increase if the levy passed. MT code Mill Levy 7-14-110
says something different. I did get my ballot and voted but what about the rest of the land owners?
