SUBJECT: Round Up for Safety Grant
MEETING DATE: March 4, 2024
BACKGROUND: Kalispell Police applied for a grant through Round Up for Saftey in the
amount of $4,632. This grant funding was approved by the Round Up for Saftey board in
full. The grant will be used to purchase Arcteryx Aplhpa Pants for Kalispell PD Swat
members. These pants are goretex material that will allow officers to remain outside in
inclimate weather for long periods of time. They are rain and snow proof and are worn
with layering to allow for use during extreme cold weather events. These will remain the
property of the City of Kalispell. They are highly adjustable in size and allow for reissuing
to new members.
ACTION REQUESTED: Accept the grant from Round up for Safety.
FISCAL EFFECTS: There will be no financial responsibility to the City of Kalispell.
