Follow up Public Comment from Marcy RobertsDear Council I am following up on last year's meeting where the council discussed increases in rates for Parks and Rec activities including camps, pool etc. It was discussed that the council had not reviewed or increased rates for years (2005?). The conversation was that the council would review rates and make increases incrementally each year to catch up with inflationary costs and sustain these programs. There were small increases last year. What is your plan for that this spring? Is this in your agenda? Last year there was discussion regarding Short Term Rental cost of permit in the city limits. The council talked about increasing that rate. There was no increase. Will that be a topic of discussion this year and will there be an increase from the $75 that it currently is? I have reached out to the city to find out how many short-term rentals are in the city limits and was not given a number but was told the threshold is 2% of homes within the city limits. Do you have that number? Number of homes and number of short-term rentals? Has the council looked to see if we are in fact following the 2%? Will the council consider a rate increase this year? Thank you and I look forward to more information. Marcy R Roberts Call/text 406-253-4133 The information contained in this e-mail is confidential, privileged, or otherwise protected from disclosure.
