Hello Ryan, congratulations on your recent victory. My name is Tony Croteau who along with my wife Donna live at 632 Woodland Ave, Donna and I meet you when you were campaigning prior
to your first victory. I am writing you regarding the lack of law enforcement of the speed limit on Woodland Ave. When we first moved to this home 12 years ago people rarely speed
as it was pretty much common knowledge that you would get a ticket for doing so. The PD would sit at the intersection of 7th Street and Woodland thus preventing speeding.
The city did a traffic study about one and a half years ago, of Woodland Ave with the measuring devices located at 7th street and Woodland Ave. I did obtain a copy which in broad terms
showed that 85% of the 5,000 vehicle trips per day were exceeding the 25 MPH limit. I asking you for HELP as it is quite ridiculous seeing most of the traffic is in the 45 MPH plus
the occasional 50++,I have in attempting to turn into my driveway have people honk pass over the double yellow line ,give me the finger and or yell at me for having the audacity to
turn into my driveway. I am told that additional speed limit signs will not result in helping without the PD enforcement. It has virtually become the EASTSIDE bypass!
I welcome you and or any other city officials to come to my home and observe, or if you lend me a radar gun I will happily record the speeds for your understanding. I know that as a
home owner the law says I am entitled to “quite enjoyment” of my property. I do not know that street you live on but I ask you the imagine the traffic Infront of your home at 45 MPH+.
