12:00pm Meeting Called to Order: Bryce Baker, Chair of the Board
1. Hear from the Public - Members of the public are invited to present information related to
the Tourism Business Improvement District. Presenters are limited to three (3) minutes each.
2. Event Grant application presentation – Elizabeth Maki, GNP. Grant request to support NPS
guided snowshoe hikes in GNP Dec 23 through mid-March (snow dependent). Hikes will be
offered once per day on Saturday and Sunday, free to the public. Requesting $2,000. (via
Zoom)
3. Discussion with Chris Gillette – discussion on bringing Perfect Game Showcase tournaments
to Kalispell.
5. Board Action Items
a) Approval of minutes from September 27, 2023
b) Approval of financials for September 2023
c) Approval of event grant application, GNP ranger led snowshoe hikes.
6. Board Discussion
a) Demonstration of Wander map on DiscoverKalispell.com
b) Update on indoor sports facility study – Proforma and site comparison reports
