September 27, 2023
On September 27, 2023, the Kalispell Police arrested 70-year-old male, John
David Walker of Dayton, Montana who is currently being held at the
Flathead County Detention Center for Assault with a Weapon. At
approximately 4:30 p.m., Kalispell Police responded to the parking lot of
Murdoch's for an assault with a weapon call. When Law Enforcement
arrived on scene, they located one male on the ground with a gunshot
wound. That male was transported to Logan Health. John David Walker
was detained on scene without further incident. There is no threat to the
community. The incident remains under investigation.
