Press Release 09-25-23: Disturbance with Weapon/ rwwMM Or r � KALISPELL POLICE DEPARTMENT 312 1s, Ave East — PO Box 1997 — Kalispell, MT 59903 Striving to Exceed Expectations' Press Release Disturbance with a Weapon 9/23/23 On 9/23/23 at 11:36pm, Kalispell Police Officers responded to an apartment complex on the west side of the city for a report of a physical disturbance in progress between a male and female. Upon arrival, officers located the female victim and removed her from the scene. She was treated by the Kalispell Fire Department for minor injuries. The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Trevor Berggren, who had barricaded himself inside his apartment and refused to submit to arrest. The Northwest Montana Regional SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams responded to the scene. Berggren was taken into custody and is being held at the Flathead County Detention Center on charges of Strangulation of a Partner or Family Member and Assault with a Weapon, both felony charges.
