Greene/Values of the Kalispell City AirportAs a pilot and regular voter I would like to extoll the virtues of the
Kalispell City Airport (S27) and the value of the proposed upgrades.
The airport is in a great location that bring tourists into the area
while providing convenient access to lodging and retaurants The airport
provides a public service in providing emergency medical service, mail
delivery, and youth groups like the Young Eagles a home. Employment is
enhanced by the presence of the airport
Realignment and widening of the runway is key to safety and noise
abatement, as a pilot, I can attest to the tricky nature of the current
runway.
I urge the city to support this proposal, and begin work ASAP.
