Airport amendment Public Comment from Margene BerryWe would not be in favor of a facility for the Experimental Aircraft Association being appro ved for the airport.
It might be appropriate for Wisconsin fields and airspace ,but not in the city space in which our airport is located.
Those of us who live in East side residences are already plagued by the noise and the potential hazard of existing flights over our space.
We have no assurance that those flying by FAA rules always follow them. Quite often pilots cut their final approach short adding to the noise and creating a safety hazard in populated
neighborhoods surrounding the airport.
How we would be impacted by the trial flights of yet untested planes is a hard thought to swallow.
Please give careful thought to this project. It may look like a free deal for the coffers, but ask yourselves if you would want various and sundry aircraft that is ultimately still in
the experimental stage flying in the airspace above schools, motels and private residences.
