All Minutes From 1967A meeting of the Flathead -Kalispell City County Planning Board was held on December 7, 1967. Members present were; Larry Bjorneby Pete McClintick Al Miron L. 0. "Buzz" Lund Bruce Person Forest Farris Robert Clark It was reported that the population study was 83% complete. The study of land use and condition of structures will be completed by Saturday, December 10, 1967. There are over 5,000 structures in this study it was reported.. Also, it was reported that Kalispell is first on the 1-istt for the 1969 fiscal year grant. The Group amreed to try and pick up some money from bonus money available to start second phase of study. All business being completed that meetine, was adjourned. The regular meeting of the Flathead -Kalispell City County Planning Board was called to order by President, Charles Hash on November 28, 1967. Members present were: Don Buckinnham Al Miron Carl Cloaston L. G. "Buzz" Lund Bruce Person William Wheeler Harold Mohn Pete McClintick Charles Hash •Forest Farris A letter •received from the Department of Planning and Economical Development stating that no money for present time is available was read by Charles Hash. A motion was made to rewrite resolution for planning assistance. The motion was seconded and passed. A progress report was presented and discussed. A motion was.made by Pete McClintick and seconded by Al Miron to pay the bill for services completed in the amount of $1,608.59. A report was given by Al Miron on the planning board meeting at Helena, October 27. Bjorneby, Hash and Miron attended. A motion was made by Carl Clowston and seconded by Al Miron to write a letter to Sunburst Development Co. approving plat of Parkview Development. One letter was to go to the County Commissioners. The meeting. adjourned at 9:30 p.m. Forest Farris Secretary The regular meeting of the Flathead -Kalispell City County Planning Board was called to order by President, Charles Hash on October 25, 1967, at 7:45 p.m. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Members present were: L. 0. "Buzz" Lund Pete McClintick Al Miron Harold Mohn Mayor Bjorneby Forest Farris A discussion was held on making money available through the planninn board for the city to make plans for a secondary disposal plant. Pete McClintick made a motion that the City County Planning Board reimburse the city for comprehensive planning of the secondary disposal plant and sewage and water survey in the 42 mile jurisdictional area to the extent of their legal and financial ability. The motion was seconded by Al Miron and carried by the group. A motion was Made by Al Miron that travel allowance be available to two members to attend the meeting at Helena on October 27. The motion - was seconded by Forest Farris and passed. Members planning to attend the meeting are Charles Hash, Al Miron and Mayor Bjorneby. The first phase should be completed between December 31 and January 31 of 1968. The base map has been outlined and roads named. A motion was made by Pete McClintick and seconded by Carl Cloeston to sign contract for work completed by the consultant. Motion carried. A motion was made by Pete McClintick and seconded by Al Miron to present application for second phase of planning funds. The motion was carried. A report of the planning meetinm at Yellow Bay was given by Carl Clorrston and a"discussion was carried on by the Troup in re,&ards to his report. Present were; Don Buckingham Dave Klehm Bill Wheeler Pete McClintick Forest Farris Buckingham reported on the comprehensive plan for a county -wide survey of water and sewer planning instigated by Whitefish Planning Board in contract with Thomas, Dean, and Haskins, Inc. on a basis of $12,000 by Farm Home Administration and $2500 by local area. McClintick made a motion we contribute $600.00 to the comprehensive area -wide water and sewer planning, seconded by Klehm; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.. A motion was made by Forest Farris that a letter be written to Mattson askinrr for $5,000.00 listiner fields we plan on studyinp•. It was seconded by William Wheeler. It was suMnested to include in the letter the date of oriminal application and also that our original application still stand. Motion carried.
