Kalispell's city airport _is_the only major airport were the planes land
and takeoff directly over the city
The west side of kalispell has 1200 homes, more or less, a high school,
built in 1895, two grammar school, five senior citizens building conplexes ,
lots of apartments, and many churchs and Businesses.
Lewistown -airport close to town -planes do not fly over on landing and
taking off
Shelby- airport 2.5 milles out of town
Cut bank -airport 2.5 miles out of town
Chester- airport 2 miles out of town
Havre- airport 2.5 miles out of town
Chinook -airport right next to town planes fly over town landing and
taking off -population 1274
Ft. Belknap - airport next to town but planes do not fly over
malta -airport close to town ,planes do not fly over
Glasgow - airport 1 mile out of town
Wolf Point - airport 2.7 miles out of town
Poplar -airport close to town ,planes do not fly over
Culbertson- airport close to town ,planes do not fly over
Miles City- airport 1 mile out of town
Billings- close to town, planes do not fly over
Laurel- airport 1 mile out of town
Columbus- airport 1 mile out of town
