Stop signs and speed limit signs for E. Oregon St.Public Comment from Andre GrozikAimee Brunckhorst From: Andreya Grozik <andreyacg@icloud.com> Sent: Saturday, March 4, 2023 2:26 PM To: Kalispell City Council Subject: EXTERNAL Fwd: Stop signs and speed limit signs for E. Oregon St. Hello, I am following up on my message from almost a year ago. This problem has not surprisingly gotten significantly worse. Why are there no stop signs on this side of town when there are plenty elsewhere? E. Oregon St. between highway 93 and Whitefish Stage has become a raceway. This is a residential area. I've spoken with police officers who agree with me that this is a problem. It has a very simple remedy. Oregon St. Good afternoon, As a homeowner on 5th Avenue East North in Kalispell, I am tired of vehicles speeding down E. Oregon St. This is a residential neighborhood. First of all, it's unsafe. Second, it's noisy. It's out of control and getting increasingly worse as more people move here. All of the neighbors I've spoken to agree completely. We pay hefty property taxes and don't understand how in a residential area there are no speed limits or stop signs on a busy street. Do we need to start a petition? Contact the local news? Sincerely, Andre
