OLD BUSINESS:
The Harper/Jiffy Lube- 1280/1290 Highway 2 W; new 40-unit multifamily development/Lube Center – Planning will
be issuing the Flood Plain Permit in the next week or two. This will be on the agenda next week.
Parkland Meadows (Lots 5&7 - Bldgs A thru E & Lift Station) – Airport Rd; new multifamily apartment buildings –
Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
NW MT Head Start – 79 7th Ave EN; addition – Public Works has comments out on the existing building. This will be
on the agenda next week.
Creekside Commons – Glenwood Dr; new apartment building – Public Works is waiting on civils for a grease/oil
separator. Plan Review to confirm they are planning for a hydraulic elevator. This will be on the agenda next week.
Laird Noller Truck & RV – 3178 Hwy 93 S; new truck & RV service center – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Gateway Mall Parking Lot – 1203 Hwy 2 W – parking lot remodel – Public Works advised that Gateway was trying
to find irrigation meters. This will be on the agenda next week.
Logan ED Parking Lot – 310 Sunnyview Lane – parking lot remodel – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next
week.
Office remodel – 417 E Idaho – Planning has not heard from MDT. This will be on the agenda next week.
LC Staffing – 620 Treeline Rd – new office building – Public Works has new civils in their review queue and advised
that they completely redesigned the storm water system. This will be on the agenda next week.
Six40 Lofts – 640 E Idaho St – hotel renovation to apartments – Public Works has comments out. Plan Review has not
heard back from them regarding the basement. Development Services advised that they are talking with them about a
TIF application. This will be on the agenda next week.
Kalispell Tank & Well Project – 1110 N Main St/3221 Hwy 93 N/850 Four Mile Dr – Plan Review and Fire Department
have comments out. This will be on the agenda next week.
Parkline Towers – 820 E Idaho – 2 new multi-family apartment buildings – Public Works advised TD & H that they
will require something other than riprap on the slope by the trail. TD & H received comments from Parks and advised
that they will need a maintenance agreement with MDT for landscaping. Public Works requested booster pump models
and stated that there may be a water pressure issue. Fire Department requested 41ft apparatus models. Development
Services confirmed with TD & H that there is no soil removal. TD&H advised that they are doing a land swap with
Bitney’s to allow for a drive aisle. This will be on the agenda next week.
Tooth Booth – 455 Cascade Loop - new dental office –Public Works is waiting for the record drawing deposit. This
will be on the agenda next week.
All Creatures – 325 Jefferson Blvd – new veterinary clinic – Public Works has comments from them in their review
queue. This will be on the agenda next week.
North Annex (Old Fairbridge) – 1701 Hwy 93 S – remodel hotel to apartments – Public Works is still waiting on
civils. Plan Review has plans in their review queue. This will be on the agenda next week.
Meadows Edge Lift Station – NHN Morning Eagle Dr – new lift station – Public Works requested lot lines be added
to their plans. This will be on the agenda next week.
Glacier Bank Downtown – 146/202 N Main St – bank remodel – Building received plans this week. This will be on the
agenda next week.
Take 5 Oil Change – 52 N Main St – oil change service center – Public Works has this in their review queue. Planning
sent ARC conditions to Parks. Planning advised that the FEC pole and boxes in the alley have not been addressed in the
plans. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS: 406 Spa – 1315 US Hwy 2 W – addition – Planning advised that a lot of the sitework was done
in Phase 1.
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS – Cenex Zip Trip – 305 E Idaho – TD&H clarified building
requirements with Plan Review. Development Services advised TD&H to expect improvement
requirements on Idaho from MDT. Public Works advised that 3rd Ave EN will need to be
brought up to city standards. Planning advised that the current sign is non-compliant.
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS – Simco Electric – Lot 8 Old School Station – Public Works
to review the trash enclosure location and will check and advise water service location to
TD&H. Latecomer’s Fees will be applicable. Plan Review advised that the building will need
to be sprinkled if over 2500 sq ft. TD&H will be conducting an infiltration test.
