Subject: EXTERNAL Request
Dear Kalispell Montana & Montana Department of Transportation,
I am contacting you today to ask about maybe getting a new project going near Kalispell
Montana. With Kalispell continuing to see a tone of growth and development in the area I would
like to encourage you to consider putting 2 freeway systems in the area.
As Kalispell grows, traffic through the area is starting to become a problem. A problem that if not
fixed now will leave marks on the city in the future as the city tries to fix the problem. I have been
to many cities and the number one problem that many cities are struggling with is how to divert
traffic through the area.
An alternative 93 was built just a few years ago, but the problem with alt 93 is it isn't divided by a
section of grass in the middle.
Kalispell needs two freeways built that runs on both sides of Kalispell. We need to prepare for
more growth in Kalispell and we need to take the time to get a freeway system in place before
Kalispell has an even bigger traffic problem to tackle tackle.
Honestly running two freeway system up from highway 90 to Kalispell may also help and even
further.
We need to get a freeway system in place at least near Kalispell and in between Evergreen and
Creston and run it up and through Columbia falls to highway 15.
We also need to run a freeway systems between Kalispell and Batavia and run it up to and
through whitefish to Roseville.
And we might as add in two freeway connection in between. One between Kalispell and Columbia
falls and the other one between Kalispell and flathead lake.
Again we need to prepare for more traffic problems and that starts by getting two free way
systems in place while we can. We have the opportunity know to prevent a traffic problem in the
future. Honestly if we don't utilize this opportunity to get a couple free way system in place we
will cause Kalispell a problem in the future. A problem that if done now we could prevent in the
future.
I encourage you to please get a couple of freeways going in this area. Please.
Thanks,
James Lincoln
