There are NO deed restrictions so it will do Nothing for the affordable housing problem in the city.
It does not mention what the cost of the parking will be. The parking is now free to shoppers.
It does not account for future costs of maintenance. Is our Fire Dept. equipped to handle a high rise fire? Does the Fire Dept. have the equipment to respond to a car fire inside an
enclosed garage? Many cities have to buy special equipment to access the parking garages.
Please DENY the CUP until an independent outside legal review can establish that TIF funds can be used for private facilities and the Request for Proposals was properly advertised.
