MEETING: September 19, 2022
BACKGROUND: Bids for a 20 CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer were opened on Thursday, September
8, 2022. The procurement scope included the purchase of a new 20 CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer for
the Street and Storm Water Departments.
Two distributors submitted bid packets for the project. The bid tabulations for the purchase of a
new 20 CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer amounts are compiled below.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Award the bid for One (1) new 20 CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer
to NorMont Equipment in the amount of $115,815.
ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to award the purchase of One (1) new 20 CY Leaf Vacuum
Trailer to NorMont Equipment.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The purchase of the new 20 CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer will be funded by
Special Street Line -item number 2500-421-430245-940 and Storm Water Fund line -item number
5349-453-430249-940. A total of $125,000 was budgeted in FY 23 for the purchase a new 20
CY Leaf Vacuum Trailer.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested and approved by the City Council.
