Hello, my name is Olivia Hennell and I just the article about the approval of 600 units between Two Mile and Three Mile
Drive. I did see there was a few upgrades mentioned to improve the roads, etc but I'm not sure if any of you have driven
on Three Mile drive between 730 and 800 but it's an absolute nightmare. There are multiple children who walk to
school in the morning and I'm honestly surprised that a child hasn't been hit in the morning attempting to cross 3 Mile
Drive. I live off 3 Mile Drive on Hawthorn Avenue and there is a designated crosswalk spot however in the early morning
hours ( especially in the winter) it's dark and difficult for drivers to see pedestrians. A crosswalk guard or blinking light at
the very least is greatly needed. Not to mention with the amount of people eventually moving in maybe a traffic light
there would make more sense as people tend to use Hawthorn Avenue as a shortcut in between Two Mile and Three
Mile Drive so the traffic tends to be backed up in the morning. Thank you for taking the time to read my
concerns. Olivia Hennell
