cabling. DCS proposes to install all equipment and cabling per the bid requirements, dependent on product is availability. If
requested hardware is unavailable a conversation will be had with the customer to determine the next best solution.
Notes Regarding the Bid:
DCS is grateful to have the opportunity to provide an estimate for this AV upgrade to the City Chambers and looks forward
to the possibility of installing it per the specs. That said, please note...
• DCS created the estimate per the parameters and equipment list provided by the City of Kalispell and prepared to
install them accordingly.
• If awarded the job, DCS would love to reevaluate the specific needs and expectations for the space as we believe
the job is currently overbuilt and as a result could be inefficient and complicated for the end user.
• DCS believes a unique system could be built using much of the same hardware that is more efficient, streamlined,
and easier to use during live events.
• If the City is interested in our proposal as it stands, we request the opportunity to discuss an even better option to
save the city money now and headache down the road.

Customer Requirements:
Customer will provide the following:
• A single point of contact for coordination with the DCS assigned Project Manager.
• A single point of contact for coordination with the DCS assigned Technician.
• Access to all areas of the facility necessary to complete the installation.
• A single point of contact for the DCS assigned Project Manager to train system management.
• This document signed, approved, and sent back to the DCS project manager - Benjamin Hooker via fax
(406) 756-7778 or email benjamin@dcsmt.com. This task will be completed prior to starting work.
Project Assumptions:
DCS is quoting this project based upon the following assumptions:
• DCS assumes that all quoted hardware is available or will be available in a timely manner from the manufacturers.
If they are not, substitutions will be made through the appropriate change orders.
• DCS' regular business hours are from 8-5pm. DCS will assume that work will be performed within those hours. If
any part of the project requires early or after hour installations, DCS will work with the BPA to schedule the DCS
technicians. Should there be prior commitments or DCS technician workloads requiring them to be used during
those regular business hours, DCS will reserve the right to charge overtime rates if necessary.

capability to fusion splice broken fiber optic cable and have all the diagnostic and troubleshooting equipment
required to support our copper, fiber and wireless operations.

well as schools, churches, and government organizations on all levels. We have provided our services to the State

Estimate & Payment Terms:
• This estimate for expected materials and labor is good for 30 days from delivery, barring any manufacturer price
increases and product availability.
• Labor and materials will be furnished in accordance with the following specifications. Payment is to be made in the
following manner: Receipt of the signed quote accompanied by 50% of project cost at the start of the job with the
balance at completion. All material is guaranteed to be as specified and is considered leased equipment until paid in
full. All work will be completed in a neat and workmanlike manner according to standard industry practices. Any
alteration or deviation from the below specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written or verbal
orders becoming an approved Change Order. Shipping and Handling is estimated or To Be Determined and may be
subject to change. DCS, Inc. employees are fully covered by Liability and Workman's Compensation Insurance.
