Present: Bill Goodman (Chairman), Melanie Cross, Tim Price, Marshall Noice, Janet Clark, Lori Hafer (Market Manager), Roger Nasset (Police Chief), Larry Miletich and George Miletich (Music One) Barn. Approval of Agenda: Moved by Melanie, second by Tim. Approved by all Board Members. Approval of Minutes of August 5, 2009: Moved by Tim, second by Marshall. Approved by all Board Members. ROGER NASSETT: Police Chief Nasset stated that the Police Department has 31 officers, they answer approximately 2500 calls per month, make approximately 180 arrests per month, 2/3 adults. There was a discussion of the late night loitering problem at 3`d. & Main. The City is working on new Loitering Ordinance and a Noise Ordinance. Also discussed was the Snow Removal Ordinance, there seems to be some confusion about which City department is responsible for enforcement. THURSDAYIFEST: Lori reviewed the responsibilities of the information Booth Personnel. All agreed this position needs someone who is at the booth on a weekly basis and agreed to continue to pay for this position. Discussion of the last Thursdaylfest,(Aug 27) which will be on the next week's agenda. KDA: Bill has received a letter from KDA asking the BID to purchase artificial garland for the lamp post for the Christmas decorations. This discussion will continue at the next meeting. DOWNTOWN FIRE SPRINKLER COMMITTEE: Bill volunteered to be the BID representative. MISSIONNEW THE r WAS ESTA13USHED TO SUPPORT THE ECONOMIC•• AND VI[TALITY OF DOWNTOWN KALISPELL AND TO MAINTAIN E PROMOTE ITS UNIQUECHARACTER. ADVOCATES FOR A DOWNTOWN DISTRICT THAT IS THE SOCIAL COMMERCIAL PROFESSIONA AN Marshall reported that he spoke to Jerry Nix regarding the Parking Survey.
