HEAR THE PUBLIC: None
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Public Works continues to keep track of Town Pump and Silverbrook. Public
Works is working with Immanuel Lutheran Cottages; they will need additional cash for the bond. Public Works has a work order
to redo the Sherman Sidewalk.
OLD BUSINESS:
Meridian Apartments- 50 Meridian Ct; new 36-unit multifamily building (Building E) – Public Works sent new
comments on 7/15 regarding sewer service location. Right of Way and Stormwater Permits have been approved. They
have revised their plans based on Fire Department input; Public Works to send revised plan to Planning. Building has
approved plans but DEQ approval is still pending. This will be on the agenda next week.
The Silos Ph 2 (Building D, E, F & G)- 655 Center St; 3 new multifamily buildings and clubhouse – Jackola
presented concept drawings but is still working on modeling. Public Works has concerns regarding Trail connection
location and restricting access so it is not a pass through; possibly implementing access control. Jackola and Planning
briefly discussed crossing design. Planning allows 2 crossings. This will be on the agenda next week.
Skalsky Hangar- 90 Ryan St; new airport hangar – Stormwater & Right of Way permits are approved; the water
main is under construction. Public Works has approved civils. Public Works required them to move electrical away
from the water main. Per Planning, geo-tech is due any day now. This is conditionally approved pending geo-tech and
Building approval.
The Harper- 1280 Highway 2 E; new 40-unit multifamily development – Public Works is reviewing plans. Parks and
Building have comments out. This will be on the agenda next week.
Jiffy Lube- 1290 Highway 2 E; new auto service/repair facility – Public Works is reviewing plans. This will be on
the agenda next week.
Diamond Aire - 1893 Airport Rd; addition to existing hanger – Nothing new but there may be a transfer of
ownership. Building and Public Works still has comments out. This will be on the agenda next week.
Taco Bell- 535 E Idaho St; building remodel and parking lot modification – Parks and Public Works are still waiting
for responses to their comments. Treatment Coordinator approved plans 7/18. MDT will require an Encroachment
Permit for sidewalk & underground tie in. An agreement will be required for underwater tie in. This will be on the
agenda next week.
Parkland Meadows – Airport Rd; 2 new multifamily apartment buildings (Buildings A&B) – DEQ and Final Plat
approval are still pending. Public Works has a few comments out including regarding sidewalk connection. Parks re-
sent comments to Edge last week. Fire Department has comments into TD&H. Building will review after DEQ
approval. They are grading site while waiting for DEQ approval. Public Works has approved Subdivision Engineering
review, but DEQ approval is pending. Public Works advised that Montana League of Cities & Towns is working on a
draft contract that DEQ would use to expedite DEQ’s approval process; this will go to council soon. This will be on
the agenda next week.
Skip’s Hangar – 20 Ryan Lane; new hangar – Nothing new. Public Works wants water moved to south side.
Airplane tiedowns are still pending. Building needs geo-tech reports. This will be on the agenda next week.
Gateway Community Center – 1203 Hwy 2 W – parking lot remodel – Planning has emails out. Public Works
spoke with them regarding Glenwood sidewalk connection. They are addressing floodplain requirements; it is being
redesigned. They have landscaping questions regarding south side of the ATM machine. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Fed Ex Expansion – 165 Schoolhouse Loop; 96,256 SF expansion to existing FedEx Building – Public Works has
comments out. Building has plans in review; easement/aggregation issue is still pending. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Clark North Hanger- 100 Ryan St; new airport hangar – Public Works has no issues. Building review is still
pending. This plan is approved.
Meridian Court Pavilion – Meridian Apts; pavilion – Public Works has no issues. This plan is approved.
NW MT Head Start – 79 7th Ave EN; addition – Public Works is working with the Architect for an additional $10k.
This will be on the agenda next week.
Eagle Valley Ranch Apartments – Bldgs E,F,G&H – 2000 Jefferson Blvd – Public Works has comments out
regarding a sewer main conflict. Jackola is working on driveway alignment. They will submit a landscape buffer
sketch to Public Works; the area needs water service. Public Works advised that Impact and Latecomers Fees will
apply. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
OTHER COMMENTS: Creekside Commons – Glenwood Dr; new apartment building - Public Works has plans in
their queue. Parking lot has been redesigned for hydrant access. Public Works has provisions for access loop. This
will be on the agenda next week.
