OLD BUSINESS:
Owl View Ph 2 Building 2 - 210 Sawyer Ln; new apartment building – Nothing new. This will be on the
agenda next week.
Junegrass Place- 1079 N Meridian; multi-family development (138 units and community building) –
Only sign off committee was waiting for is landscaping. Chad emailed approval on 5/11/2022. Building is
still working through some comments on the Community Building. Pretreatment still needs to be taken
care of and a stormwater permit will be needed. There has been no DEQ approval either. This has passed
through site review.
First Interstate Bank- 2 S Main St; new drive thru teller lanes and ATM – Nothing new, no building
plans. This will be on the agenda next week.
SD#5 Transportation and Maintenance Facility- 120 School Station Ct; School bus storage and
maintenance – The seeding that has been proposed does not match the Public Works standards. Per Chad
the front is ok, but the back needs corrected on the plans. Chad has comments on landscaping revisions he
is waiting for a response on. Pretreatment comments went out on 04/06/2022. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Kohls- 2248 Highway 93 N; new retail shell – Does not appear a sewer service was stubbed out for the
building; one will need to be provided. This will be on the agenda next week.
Meridian Apartments (Bldg E)- 50 Meridian Ct; Building 5 of Meridian Apartments (36 units) – Public
Works is working on getting comments out. This will be on the agenda next week.
Flathead Liquor- 1121 Hwy 2 W; parking lot modification –The backflow preventer is not high enough
off the ground, it must be 12 inches off the ground. Elevations will need to be provided. Public Works
really has nothing other than tracking the disturbance. This will be on the agenda next week.
The Silos Ph 2 (Building D&G)- 655 Center St; new 36-unit multifamily building – Still waiting on a
new civil submittal, the civils that Public Works currently has on file is from March 2022 and per Keith,
Toby with Jackola advised him those were just preliminary and to not use them. The same encroachment
letter that was used on Phase 1 will also be used on Phase 2. This will be on the agenda next week.
Airport Hangar- 900 Ryan St; new airport hangar – PJ is signing off on their COS today. Per Keith their
ROW permit was cancelled so they will need to apply for a new one. Building still needs to review. This
will be on the agenda next week.
The Harper – 1280 Hwy 2 East; new 40-unit multifamily development – Concerns with the 50-foot
drainage easement that comes right up to Mudman Burgers and any access easements that are proposed
with this development may cause overlapping easements. Keith advised since the stormwater that is being
installed involves all three of these sites/lots that the easement should incumber them all. A floodplain
permit may be required. This will be on the agenda next week.
Jiffy Lube – 1290 Hwy 2 East; new/auto service/repair facility – Concerns with the 50-foot drainage
easement that comes right up to Mudman Burgers and any access easements that are proposed with this
development may cause overlapping easements. Keith advised since the stormwater that is being installed
involves all three of these sites/lots that the easement should incumber them all. A floodplain permit may
be required. This will be on the agenda next week.
Diamond Aire Hangar Addition – 1893 Airport Rd; addition to existing hangar – Pretreatment
comments sent out on 5/5/2022. Easement issues are still being worked out. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Taco Bell – 535 E Idaho St; building remodel and parking lot modification – Doug with TD&H is
sending a new site plan. Chad advised if they are doing an interior remodel, they will have to update the
mulching around the building. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
Sunrift – called Public Works about the food truck area and asked about submitting for site
review approval and about the issue of serving alcohol in a building where people must cross a public
alley to get to another building and may have alcohol on their person. They will need to contact the
Department of Revenue regarding this. A beer garden may need to be included in design for the food
truck area. The 5% parking lot landscaping requirement would apply.
