OLD BUSINESS:
Owl View Ph 2 Building 2 - 210 Sawyer Ln; new apartment building – Nothing new. This will be on the
agenda next week.
Penco - 2310 Hwy 93 S; building addition – Public Works received the Waiver of SID. All Departments
are ready to sign off. This has passed through site review.
Junegrass Place- 1079 N Meridian; multi-family development (138 units and community building) –
Public works conditionally approved on 4/26/22. There are some discrepancies between the landscape
architect and developer on the landscape plan. If Chad can get the updated landscape plans ASAP, he can
review. The hope is that he can have them reviewed in time to sign off in site review by 05/12/22. As of
today, Fire and Public Works has signed off. This will be on the agenda next week.
First Interstate Bank- 2 S Main St; new drive thru teller lanes and ATM – Nothing new, no building
plans. This will be on the agenda next week.
SD#5 Transportation and Maintenance Facility- 120 School Station Ct; School bus storage and
maintenance – Public works is waiting on a resubmittal. Per Chad they are asking to reduce the
landscaping on the entire site. They would like to do a dry land seed mix on the retention pond in the
back, Public Works advised there is particular type of plant species they should use depending on the
facility type and will have to review it further. This will be on the agenda next week.
Kohls- 2248 Highway 93 N; new retail shell – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
Meridian Apartments (Bldg E)- 50 Meridian Ct; Building 5 of Meridian Apartments (36 units) –
Planning has comments out to the architect who forwarded them to TD&H, waiting on response. Public
Works has not started their review as of today. This will be on the agenda next week.
Flathead Liquor- 1121 Hwy 2 W; parking lot modification –The backflow preventer is not high enough
off the ground, it must be 12 inches off the ground. This will be on the agenda next week.
The Silos Ph 2 (Building D&G)- 655 Center St; new 36-unit multifamily building – Public Works has
not received civils yet. The same encroachment letter that was used on Phase 1 will also be used on Phase
2. This will be on the agenda next week.
Airport Hangar- 900 Ryan St; new airport hangar – Zoning has advised a condo declaration will have to
be recorded before a building permit can be issued, they are working with PJ on that. Gary Hoes is
working on the fire plan review regarding the fire wall. This will be on the agenda next week.
The Harper – 1280 Hwy 2 East; new 40-unit multifamily development – Planning has done initial
review and sent out comments. This will be on the agenda next week.
Jiffy Lube – 1290 Hwy 2 East; new/auto service/repair facility – Planning has done initial review and
sent out comments. This will be on the agenda next week.
Diamond Aire Hangar Addition – 1893 Airport Rd; addition to existing hangar – Building is going to
check on the building code regarding building over a sanitary sewer main. This will be on the agenda next
week.
Taco Bell – 535 E Idaho St; building remodel and parking lot modification – Departments under review.
Initial comments are that the parking spots by trash enclosure may be a problem. This will be on the
agenda next week.
