Several boards also have ongoing vacancies. Notice of board openings was provided via advertising in the Daily Inter Lake, through the city website, social media, and press media outlets. All applicants, whether reapplying or new, were asked to fill out an online, fillable application form. The Mayor, with the consent and advice of the Council shall make board appointments. Please see the following board list, with hyperlinks to each board's webpage. Please refer to the webpage for descriptions regarding the purpose, membership requirements and term lengths of the individual boards, and their current board members. Membership requirements have been verified for all applicants. Staff will continue to recruit and accept applications throughout the year for all boards and committees who have ongoing vacancies or positions that are not appointed by the Mayor at this time. Not only do I feel I have a good handle on the aesthetics of buildings, I also understand some of the practicalities such as budgets and current building practices.
