I am reaching out in support of this project. It provides a much -needed improvement on the vehicular connection
between the two main highways that run parallel (north and south) between Kalispell and Whitefish/Columbia Falls.
Additionally, I would hope that a part of this grant includes pedestrian connectivity potentially including grade separated
sidewalks, bike lanes, or multi use paths. There is a great opportunity as a part of this project to create a key connection
between Kalispell and Evergreen via a safe pedestrian and cyclist route as well as improving connectivity to the multiuse
path system on Whitefish Stage Road.
Thank you for considering this project and best of luck on your grant application.
