Subject: EXTERNAL Northridge Subdivision park
Good afternoon,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of the residents of Northridge Subdivision. Much to our disappointment,
we have noticed the condition of the basketball and tennis court has declined to such an extreme, they are no
longer useable.
As residents, we are TAXED for parks and recreation yet we are no longer able to utilize these courts. KMS
students as well as summer camp children frequent this park on a regular basis, being limited to only the
grass. Why has the City of Kalispell not done its part in maintaining the courts?
Myself and other Northridge residents would like the opportunity to get outside in the summer to utilize these
courts. There is absolutely no reason we should have to DRIVE elsewhere to participate in these sports that
were historical available to us in our subdivision.
This matter has been brought to your attention and we will expect the City will take steps to repair the
surfaces of these courts as to make them functional.
Have a blessed day.
