Re: Extension of Financing Contingency on Contract for Development and Contract
for Private Development for Parking Garage and Charles Hotel
Dear Charlie:
Pursuant to Section of 3.4 of the Contract for Private Development between Kalispell
Urban Resort Partners, LLC ("KURP") and the City of Kalispell, Montana dated January 12,
2022, and pursuant to Section 3.4 of the Contract for Development between Montana Hotel
Development Partners, LLC ("MHDP") and the City of Kalispell, Montana dated January 12,
2022, my clients, MHDP and KURP, would like to extend the financing contingencies in Section
3.4 of those Contracts to May 31, 2022. While it is my clients' intent to have financing in place
prior to that date, we are working with regulated banks and some of the due diligence regarding
the connection between the hotel and parking garage is taking longer than anticipated. If you
would please have the appropriate City of Kalispell official sign below indicating approval to
the requested extension and return a signed copy to my office, that would be much appreciated.
