ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE FIRST PARKING STALL ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
SECOND STREET WEST AT MAIN STREET AND THE FIRST STALL ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF THIRD STREET EAST AT MAIN STREET AS HANDICAPPED PARKING
SPACES, REPEALING A PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1030, TO PROVIDE FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF SIGNS, AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION I. That the following parking stalls are designated
as handicapped parking stalls:
A) The first parking stall adjacent to Main Street on
the:
i) North curb line of Second Street West
ii) South curb line of Third Street East
SECTION II. Section I, (a), (vi), and (ix), Ordinance No.
1030, is hereby repealed. All other portions of Ordinance
No. 1030 shall remain unchanged.
SECTION III. The Chief of Police shall immediately, upon
the e fective date of this Ordinance, cause to be installed
appropriate and adequate signs to indicate handicapped parking
only in the stalls herein designated.
SECTION IV. This Ordinance is effective thirty (30) days
following final passage by the Council and approval by the
Mayor.
