Approval of Minutes: Mark moved to approve the February 22, 2022, minutes; Robin seconded
(approved 6-0).
New Business:
Signs: Kid Kare- 66 Claremont St; remodeled freestanding sign – Mark moved
to approve; Susanne seconded (approved 6-0).
Bed Bath & Beyond- 2411 Hwy 93 N; freestanding sign face
replacement - Cara moved to approve; Robin seconded (approved 6-0).
Enhabit Signs- 42 Bruyer Way- freestanding sign face replacement -
Cara moved to approve; Robin seconded (approved 6-0).
Old Business:
Buildings: Keller Williams-162 Timberwolf Parkway; new real estate office –
added landscaping to the back of the building, relocated trash enclosure
and added landscaping to shield the mechanical/utility equipment, all as
requested by committee. They still aren’t satisfied with the landscape
palette and the location of some of the tree and bush locations and
species in the front of the building. Added evergreens are too close to the
buildings and the deciduous tree locations are not going to thrive well
because they are too close to the building as well. Owners are having a
little difficulty with availability of trees/plants and budgeting. Swap out
the linden trees or push them out further to give them more room, smaller
tree(s), 15-20ft, for courtyard area and swap out three deciduous trees
with three columnar evergreens in front that are about 3-4ft high.
Susanne moved to approve subject to updated landscape plan that
addresses the three requested changes; Cara seconded (approved 6-0).
Junegrass Place- 1079 N. Meridian Rd; Multifamily development (138
units and clubhouse) – Robin recused herself – project back in front of
committee now that the material samples are available, they were not
available at previous meeting. Cara moved to approve; Mark seconded
(approved 5-0).
Signs: House of Nails- 211 S Main St; new wall sign (Noncontributing building
in Main Street Historic District) - Susanne moved to approve; Mark
seconded (approved 6-0).
