I am a resident owner of a W Colorado St. home.
I write my comments to this meeting, in concern of the Conditional Use permit granted to GMD Development in the
project Junegrass Place. What does the "conditional use permit include"?
Rumors has flown that the developers plan to bore through West Arizona Street and West Colorado Street.
As of now these streets are platted as they exist. I would think that the neighborhood, the residents, the owners would
have to be notified and asked their input, on such a matter as serious and invasive as this sounds and could be.
I ask that the city council members enlighten the neighborhood if there is such a plan to do this. Our streets are platted
at 30' to 40 ft wide.
We can't take the additional traffic other than our residents. I beg you, I plead with you don't allow this to happen to our
streets.. There's got to be other options for the developer and for the city that would be a better and happier outcome,
then destroying streets and quality of our neighborhood we have now.
