AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ALLEY CLEANUP TO BE CONDUCTED UNDER THE
DIRECTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALTSPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Alley cleanup in the City of Kalispell shall be
accomplished under the following:
(a) Authority. The Director of Public Works shall have
the authority to schedule "alley cleanup" in spring and fall
of the year or at such other times as the workload permits.
Sufficient public notice shall be given to allow residents
time to prepare material for pickup.
(b) Materials to be collected. Materials to be collected
during "alley cleanup" shall consist of minor house wreckage,
sod, grass and garden trimmings, leaves, lawn trimmings,
apples and other such materials from normal spring and fall
home cleanup.
(c) Areas to be collected. All alleys within the city
shall receive cleanup service. Areas not serviced by alleys
shall receive curbside cleanup on days specifically set by
the Director of Public Works.
(d) Preparation of materials. Materials placed for cleanup
shall be contained as the Director of Public Works may require.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective from and
after thirty (30) days of its passage by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
